Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, the President of the Loveworld nation has constantly reminded delegates in the course of his ministration during the IPPC, that Praise and Worship in the Church must be done in the right order as prescribed by God. He gave several examples from the Bible where worship done in the wrong pattern, attracted the wrath of God in some cases.
This, he said should be acknowledged as the church work more with the prescription given in Hebrews 13:15 where the Bible says, “By him therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name”. Setting this as a key standard and expressing God’s displeasure with worldly dance patterns imported into the Church, he announced the Loveworld IPPC Praise and Worship Night. This became the Word expressed in music, in the Friday evening session.
Song ministration, after song ministration, the Loveworld Singers were introduced to sing live gospel songs, as they led the delegates to praise and worship God in remarkable ways. The man of God also led the congregation in different times of prayers of worship, after music ministers like Rita Soul, Pastor Saki, Sophia, Martins PK, Israel Osho, Chookar, and several others, led the congregation in great praise and worship sessions that resulted in glorious times of prayers of praise and worship to God, the Sovereign God and maker of the Universe.
Delegates began to relate more with Bible worship patterns, lifting holy hands in praise and worship, without dancing in the flesh but in the Spirit. Several more were led to relate more with the Holy Spirit with their praise and worship, in their personal times of fellowship with God, by the man of God, Reverend Chris, who made it clear to the congregation of thousands, that it is a key way of maintaining spiritual power that the Holy Spirit imparts to those who worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
The Praise Night which resulted into a glorious Communion service, saw brethren taking the Communion, with the joy and faith in their hearts, expressed all around them. Glorious shouts of praise followed different moments of worship as more delegates saw why the Word of God can be well packaged into songs that are carefully written, to praise God and affirm His word in the life of a Christian.
Pastor Chris blessed the congregation at the close of the service as more songs were sang to God, in an atmosphere of praise and worship. Hallelujah!
