2015 IPPC Commenced on a Triumphant Note
The Pastors Conference which kick starts the International Pastors and Partners Conference (IPPC) took off with thousands of Pastors and leaders of the Ministry from around the world at the Loveworld Convocation Arena on Billings Way Oregun, Ikeja. Evidently, their expectations were so high as they came thirsty for a long drink of the anointing from our man of God Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. The morning session started with a prayer by Pastor Kayode Adeshina after a glorious worship session led by gospel music superstar T-Sharp.
After the prayers, the audience rose for a rendition of the BLW anthem led by the LMC recording artist PU. After which the expectations of the organizers of the conference was played with many other artists performing to the glee of the delegates.
The Secretary General of the Believers Loveworld Nation, Rev. Ray Okocha gave the opening speech in which he commended the President of the BLW nation and gave a brief summary of the exponential growth recorded in all the ministry’s endeavors in this Year of Triumph. He further thanking everyone for the part they played in the Ministry’s success as the achievements recorded are results of team effort. He then enjoined all participants of the conference to see into reality and move to do greater exploits.
Different reports were taken from the DSP region. First up was Pastor Lanre Alabi (Lagos Zone 1), followed by Pastor Vale Odu-Thomas (Lagos Zone 2), then Pastor Femi Otenigbagbe (Lagos Zone 3). The report session was interrupted for the Yookos prayer at noon. The report session resumed with Lagos Zone 4 (Pastor Biodun Afolabi) and running up was Pastor Deola Philips the esteemed Zonal Director of Lagos Zone 5.
The first sets of awards were in the Campus Ministry category as presented by its Director Pastor Freedom Wealth-Eriya and Pastor Ambrose Isesele of the Central Executive Council(CEC).The top partnering church in that category was won by Port Harcourt Zone 3, Pastor Joy Amenkhienan.
The first plenary session of the IPPC was taken by the Zonal Director of the Accra Ghana Zone, in the person of Pastor Biodun Lawal. His text was taken from 1 Corinthians 3:9-17 on ‘The wise Master builder’. Which he defined as a professional builder, one who is at the apex of his profession. He admonished the Pastors to become a reference point for others in excellence as they execute the greatest job on earth which is building lives. He gave example of Solomon building according to the pattern given to him by David his father; in like manner Pastors should build according to the vision given to them by the man of God Pastor Chris. He further encouraged them to be excellent in their character and in their work.
The reporting from the DSP resumed with the Zonal Pastor for Onitsha Zone Pastor Achi Aseme. Pastor Chidi Ezimako gave his report for Abuja Zone and Pastor Siji Dara reported for the Warri Zone.
The second plenary session was taken by Pastor Joy Amenkhienan. This was followed by the Zonal report of the Accra Zone by Pastor Biodun Lawal. After a few announcements, the first session of IPPC was brought to a close by Pastor Kayode Adeshina. This year’s IPPC Promises to be one of a kind as the expectations of delegates are sky high.
