Your Communication and Spiritual Advancement – Rev. Ken

Reverend Ken Oyakhilome in a very inspiring message admonished pastors to be mindful of their communication. “Refuse to eat poison. Deliver your congregation from what they should not be involved in. This ministry is transparent. Focus on your responsibilities. Develop yourself as a minister”.

He instructed the pastor that “as a pastor, take  time to listen to yourself after preaching. It will help you to communicate by the Holy Ghost and produce better results”.

He reminded everyone that the gospel is our life and should be our full time job. Reading from the book of Proverbs chapter 15:1-2 “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness. Let your communication be sweet. Do you know the honor Pastor has given you. But for the Holy Ghost who are you? They leave their homes to come and listen to you. Do you know the honor? Communicate rightly”.

Reverend Ken, in an emotional laden voice advised pastors to be mindful of their verbal and non verbal actions. “Don’t have a positive commutation with messy attitude. Let the verbal and nonverbal communication be positive. The looks matter. God hates a proud attitude”.

He then went further to explain spiritual advancement. “If you don’t offend in your communication, you are a perfect man. We maintain what Pastor has instruct us. We can see the latest trends, what about the latest you. Spend time to meditate on the word of God. Follow pastor to pray”.

“It’s about being in sync with the Lord. We do the impossible when we communicate rightly. We are makers of men. We make many rich with our words. Through communication. We give life to men. We run with precision. That’s spiritual advancement”.

Philippians 3:8-12 – Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

“When my call was ascertained, I gave up my will. Success is not anywhere, it’s in a man”. He then told the story of how Reverend Tom developed Benin city through his words. Same with Pastor Chris in south Africa, etc.

“Get to the point where the the devil and his cohorts should start checking out because they know who’s coming. God’s waiting for your words to cause changes”.

Ephesians 3:8 – Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

There’s grace in communication…

Ephesians 3:9-10 – And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.

As he read these verses from the Amplified version of the bible, not a single person was sitting…

“What a ministry… Once again, thank you Pastor for making our lives beautiful…”
