Pastors Session of IPPC Rounds off on a Glorious Note

dsc_1485xThe Pastors session of the International Pastors and Partners Conference (IPPC) rounded off with Wednesday, November 16 on a glorious note. The President of the Believers Loveworld nation, Reverend Chris Oyakhilome took the stage after an inspiring awards and talk show segment. He started his teaching with the hymn ‘Blessed Assurance’. After the hymnal, Pastor Chris gave the pastors words of encouragement telling them to unburden whatever worries or concerns they have to the Lord who is able to see them through any form of trial. He read from the Weys translation of Philippians 4 verse 11 where it highlighted the importance of mastering the act of living and maintaining spiritual joy, and stability independent of circumstances.

Continuing, Pastor Chris spoke about being born of the Spirit, a mystery that the natural man cannot understand. Reading from John 3:3, he cited the biblical reference of Jesus’ encounter with Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews who wanted to understand the mystery of the spiritual new birth. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead also featured prominently in Pastor Chris’ teaching where he stressed the importance of faith in receiving salvation. In his words, ‘believing the resurrection is key to salvation’. He added that without the resurrection, the new creation was nullified.

Emphasizing from the book of Romans 10: 8, and 17, he placed highlighted on the role of believing with the heart and making confessions with the mouth unto salvation, he also read from the book of Mark 16: 17-20 noting that the Lord is working with us today with signs and wonders following, as we go forth and spread into every man’s world just like He did with the apostles in bible days.

He admonished that pastors endeavour to live above the strife, divisions and fleshly limitations of the world system, and live by spiritual principles, not subject to the flesh. The beautiful session which brought to the end, the Pastors session of the International Pastors and Partners Conference had shouts of victory joy renting the air after seven halleluyah shouts and prayers of celebration for the next level of operation.
