When You Encounter The Word, Make Adjustments – Pastor Deola Phillips
At the ongoing Partners Conference 2016, Pastors and Partners received upgrading words as the Director of the Healing School and Pastor of Lagos Zone 5, Pastor Deola Phillips, expounded on Inner Excellence, Maintaining The Glow.
“It’s the conditioning of my spirit to see, think and reason differently. It’s the mental structure of a champion.
Inner excellence is important because we live from inside. A good man out of the good deposits in his heart brings forth good things. A king is meant to rule… I cannot be cast down, I cannot be defeated. I’m born to win!
Inner excellence is the ability to regulate your inner climate irrespective of the outer weather.
Inner excellence is a conditioning, you’re not born with it, you train yourself to think, talk, react in a particular way.
Inner excellence is the ability to stay steady and positive.
1 Samuel 30:6
When the inner man is strengthened, you can face anything!
Inner excellence produces a lifestyle, it guarantees your continual victory and success.
There is a hero inside you. As you develop inner excellence, that champion must show forth more and more.
God needs your testimonies for other people. We don’t just live for ourselves and it’s important that you develop yourself for a life of continual success and victory.

Romans 12:2 says be transformed so you have the ability to make it happen.
A Christian can make adjustments.
Inner adjustments can make a whole lot of difference.
When you encounter the Word, make adjustments.
There are 3 things you need when you want to be transformed:
1. New Knowledge: going for the Word. The Word is able to build us up and deliver unto us an inheritance. Your inheritance takes you higher.
2. New Attitudes: your inner climate, when something happens, how do you see it?
Ephesians 4:23 says let your mind be scripted by the Word of God.
Never find yourself having fellowship with demons through thoughts. Endorse only thoughts of Faith, Hope and Love.
3. New Actions: Stay in God’s word
There is a place in the Word. You are seated together with Christ, stay there.
I function with all grace. Stay in the Word. Begin to function differently from everything you were before. Train yourself to act like a champion.
There’s a higher life. That inner life is so important. Are you being God conscious?
The power for transformation is in your hands. You can have inner excellence, maintaining the glow!
Romans 12:11 is a special admonition for us. It’s from inside.”
