Pastor Chris Declares the Pastor’s Conference Open
THE Pastor’s Conference started on a special as Pastor’s from over 150 countries across six continents of the world converged at the Loveworld Convocation Arena (LCA) in Lagos Nigeria to acknowledge the manifestation of the word in all aspects of their lives, while preparing for an even greater year ahead. Welcoming the Pastors, the President of Loveworld Incorporated, Rev.(Dr.)Chris Oyahkilome took them on a reminiscence of the beauty of faith in Christ.
Promising the participants that the gains of attending this Conference are immeasurable he told that irrespective of whatever they left behind just to be part of these epochal meetings, that God will make it up for them. He further noted that the very fact that God did not look at our imperfection before making us the custodian of the gospel is self evident of God’s trust in our ability to be witnesses to his word, thus sending Jesus was the icing on the cake for our imperfections.
Pastor drew analogy of experiences he had while growing up on how Angels of God perform great works of healing ministrations for all kinds of ailments. He announced the presence of that healing Angel notifying the congregation that the presence of the Angel always wrought great miracles which is what God told them to do. Pastor announced that many people who came into the meeting sick will be shocked that before the end of today’s meetings, they would realize that they have been made whole.
Pastor noted that at meetings like this, the presence of God is always overwhelming as God is always present. He told a story of what happened years ago in Uganda where Rev.T.L. Osborne was having a meeting, and the then Ugandan ruler Idi Amin came to the venue, mounted the platform, and TL Osborne warned him that he is standing where God had been standing. “He knew what many doesn’t know. God is there and the supernatural things take place”, he added.
At this juncture, Pastor announced that healing are taking place, urging those who have received healing to meet the minister’s to share their testimonies, and many came out to share their testimonies. As has been the case in the past, Pastor Chris noted that a meeting does not necessarily have to be a healing meeting before the manifestation of the healing anointing of God begins to take place.
The number of testifiers that came out to testify healing was such that many didn’t need any more conviction of what Pastor Chris said concerning the presence of God. It was such an eventful morning and the entire auditorium came alive with shouts and celebration. Nothing could be more apt in capturing the theme of this year’s IPPC as Celebrating the Light. The light indeed manifested in no small way today.
