Teenage Pastors Take Centre Stage
A very unique trait of Loveworld nation is the focus on getting them young for Jesus, this is primarily the reason behind the Ministry’s ability to raise leaders and inculcate into them all the necessary traits of quality leadership while they are still growing up preparing them for complex leadership roles both in the Ministry and in life.
This is why the Ministry built the Teens Conference into the schedule of the International Pastor’s and Partners Conference (IPPC), thus on the sidelines of the IPPC, the Loveworld International Teens Pastors and Leaders Conference (ITPLC) kicked off gloriously today. The ITPLC which is taking place at the Classic Events Centre, along Kudirat Abiola way, Oregun, Lagos is going to last for three days and attracted Teen Pastors and Leaders from different Groups, Zones and Regions of the BLW nation. The Conference which is part of the International Pastors’ and Partners Conference (IPPC) was fully packed as participants used the opportunity to review their various achievements within the year.
The event had lined up several life transforming activities tailored for the young people such as Teens Exhibition, Workshops, TalkShows among others. The Exhibition was declared open by the Secretary General of the Loveworld nation, Pastor Kayode Adesina who used the opportunity to emphasise on the theme of the programme; Leadership, Empowerment and Illumination.
Pastor Lanre Alabi, the Director of Church Growth International ministered to the young people on Leadership and Followership sharing thoughts on running one’s race to win, using competitions like the Olympics as example where the emphasis is the joy of participation. This was followed by key ministrations comprising of specially prepared workshops, talk-shows and an anchor segment handled by Brother Daniel Joseph who spoke on ‘Giving the World a New Standard’. .
The ITPLC 2019 indeed promises to be much more loaded with several more inspiring and insightful content to offer the Teens Pastors and Leaders in the three day programme.
