IPPC Day 2: Pastor Chris Highlights Reality Of God’s Word Amidst Modern Day Challenges
The International Pastors and Partners Conference, IPPC, continued the second day with more insight by Pastor Chris into the reality of God’s Word amidst modern day era challenges.
Pastor emphasised the essence of doing God’s Word and not hearing it alone. He reminded the Church that this is a dangerous state a lot of Christians have found themselves, using the church more for Gospel entertainment rather than for the earnest quest for Christian worship, fellowship and the study of God’s Word.
As he threw more light on these words, it became clear to the delegates that the highpoints of the 21st century including the speed of the day, are not enough to make the Church victim of systems that has placed it in a state of dependence on wordly entertainment patterns instead of depending on the Word of God, in order to maintain a Spirit filled congregation.
As he addressed some key aspects of Christian worship, Pastor was quick to separate Praise and Worship from Gospel entertainment which he classified as a major source of worldly lifestyles and patterns that has been imported into the Church.
He emphasised that these patterns need to be corrected by making Christians see and understand why Jesus Christ said in Matthew 16:18, that He will build the Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
IPPC Day 2 continued amidst seminars, strategic sessions and workshops, as the man of God also encouraged the delegates to visit the Exhibition stand more, and learn more about what God has done in the ministry through them in the past one year.
