Pastor Kayode Adesina Explores The Dynamics of Loveworld Patriotism In His Ministration At The IPPC
The Partners Conference continued in the evening of Thursday November 18, with more sessions on the Word of God. Partners, who came from around the world to be fed more of the Word, as they are also inspired more in the vision of the Loveworld nation, were served the Word in abundance, through different segments and strategic sessions of the Conference.
The Loveworld nation’s exceptionalism was also emphasised, as Pastor Kayode Adesina, the Secretary General of the Loveworld nation, ministered to the Pastors and Partners, sharing on Loveworld Patriotism. Talking about Loveworld Patriotism, he gave key reasons why every Citizen of the Loveworld nation is required to fulfill the mandate of being patriotic, having the right mental attitude.
He defined Patriotism as the state of being patriotic, which is devotion to and vigorous support for one’s nation. He talked about the responsibilities of the Citizens of the Loveworld nation, coming from the history of the nation. He added that the history, which requires studying those who have gone ahead, is needed, to be successful, in carrying out the Loveworld Citizens’ mandate.
According to him, some of the characteristics of the Citizen of the Loveworld nation should be demonstrated in our way of life, our language our materials, our currency, our anthem, our statement of faith, our headquarters and several other features from the Loveworld nation.
In analysing the Loveworld anthem, he emphasised the fact that more attention should be paid to the lyrics of the Holy Ghost inspired anthem, with particular emphasis on the lines that says “All we know is a life of giving”, and “You are my brother, you are my sister”.
After explaining the true meaning of these lines, the congregation got so stirred and excited, as they understood better, just as the Bible explained it in Ephe 4:25. Using this line of thought, Pastor Kayode stated that “if this person is your brother or sister, you have to go great lengths, not to put him or her at a disadvantage”. He reminded the congregation that no one is supposed to make merchandise of the Church, since we are one nation, and one body in Christ.
It has indeed been a great time of fellowship with the saints and the Word at the IPPC. We thank the Lord for this great congregation of the saints, who are being inspired in the right direction. Glory to God.
