Giving more candid points of our eternal life in Christ Jesus and what it entails for the gospel minister, Pastor Chris noted that most christians have not fully studied the subject of eternal life, as he explained why they are not living in the realities of the divine life.
Giving some key points on eternal life, which is the God kind of life in the recreated human spirit, and the implications of that life, Pastor Chris reminded delegates to mind their language, giving examples of some negative words in the world that God’s people should avoid. Words like “we shall all die, everyone makes mistakes, we are all humans, no one is perfect” etc, should be avoided.
Pastor Chris reminded the participants of who we are in Christ, and the spiritual fact that this is the generation that will see the rapture. Asking participants “do you know what it is to have Christ in you?” He charged them that when you recognise this truth, it will change everything about you. Your interpretations will change. He reminded the Pastors of God’s instructions to tell the world who Jesus is.
Restating the fact that Jesus is the very essence of divinity encapsulated in humanity, he added that the power of Jesus Christ is indescribable since He created the universe. Pastor Chris admonished ministers that:
- The church must recapture the truth of Jesus Christ and address Him accordingly. This is why we must have reverence for the Lord.
He added some key instructions like:
- The power of your submission to authority is evident in your response to authority.
- Teach on the Lordship of the Lord Jesus, on how to use His name in your congregations. Don’t dishonour Him.
- True prayer and fasting reflects humility and submission to God.
- We all have different areas that God wants us to participate in the end time work. It’s good to begin to discover them for yourself if you haven’t done so yet.
- Be a part of God’s army, who God wants to rule the world from heaven through prayers.
Still sharing on our eternal life in Christ, Pastor Chris encouraged all Pastors to pray more, noting that “as a leader, you are a watchman”. Reading from 1 Corinthians 14:13-15, Ephesians 6:18, Isaiah 62:1-7 and Ezekiel 3:17-18, he reminded all participants at the Pastors Conference that they are watchmen, and that they have to watch more in the place of prayers.
It was indeed a glorious time of great fellowship with the word of God at this epochal conference.
